I didn’t quite know what to expect from Michael Elmgreen (b. 1961, Denmark) and Ingar Dragset’s (b. 1969, Norway) latest exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery, mainly because I hadn’t come across any of their work before. I love that about living in a city like London. There is so much creativity, and talent from around the world.

Electronic Superhighway 2016 – 1966, the current exhibition at the Whitechapel Gallery has been on the visit list for a while. Inspired about the age of the internet, the exhibition takes a journey back in time, over the past 50 years from the present day in 2016 right back to 1966, to look at relationship between artists have with technology in the digital age. Some of the works are created by the internet, others are created about the topic of the internet and its affect on our lives.
